CRDOWNLOAD (Chrome Partially Downloaded File) extension is a file created in the Google Chrome Web browser. .CRDOWNLOAD files contain partially downloaded file data. Google Chrome marks downloaded content as incomplete until it is finished downloading. The browser also prevents users from opening an incomplete file. Google Chrome adds such an extension to the file until it is downloaded to the end. For example, the songs.mp3 file will be named songs.mp3.crdownload. When the download is complete, Chrome deletes the .CRDOWNLOAD extension and specifies the original file format.
